Trans Load Process Details
- Customer contracts rail service with KCS and schedules railcars for loading
- Midstream Texas receives Customer’s empty railcars from KCS into facility
- Midstream Texas positions railcars for loading and deploys secondary containment under railcar
- Customer truck drivers check in at gate, connect hoses
Midstream Texas operator on site:
- Instructs driver on connecting offload and vapor hoses
- Verifies supply and vent connections
- Operates transloader pump into railcar
- Monitors filling of railcar by transloader
When railcar is full:
- Closes, secures and seals railcar hatches for transport
- Completes loading forms in KCS system
- Provides verification copies to Customer
